Understanding Evapotransperation (ET), the Irrigation Index and Watering Cycles

Here is your custom schedule

The basic annual sprinkler schedule lists:

  • How long to water each zone
  • The number of cycles per runtime
  • The number of days per week to water

This schedule uses historical weather averages, but does not factor in rainfall. Ask a sprinkler contractor to install a rain sensor to automatically turn the system off when it rains. Contact savingwater.org to see if you qualify for a rebate.

You may now print out your schedule
Please close the window that opens up, when you are finished printing
Please close this window (or tab) when you are done printing.

This irrigation schedule is designed for sprinklers with a basic manually adjusted controller/clock. If your controller has a percent adjustment key, use the Intermediate scheduling calculator.
